Take the money and run as far away as you can. Don't look back. Don't even care if they ever see you again. Just go live a life away from those people who you once knew or at least thought you knew anyway. Now that you look back on it you really didn't. Now I wonder WHAT IF? What if you had just let her get taken by the boogie man? You would never have known how things turned out. It probably would have been different anyway.
